A continent surrounded by crystal clear water and golden sand. A view for miles of oceans crashing, surfers enjoying big waves and a sea life like never seen before; Australia has some of the world’s best beaches.
A location that’s perfect for any postcard background; surroundings of beautiful see life only steps away and beautiful views right before your eyes, there’s a beach for everyone and every occasion.
Sydney has 37 ocean beaches, stretching from North Palm in the north to Cronulla in the south, where volleyball, sun tans and swimming is what’s hot besides the weather.
South of Sydney Harbor is Bondi, one of Australia’s most famous destinations. With surroundings of cafés and surf-wear shops, is one location where surfers love to surf and is where the true meaning of “the sound of breaking waves” really comes into play. Just south is a small bay beach Tamarama and a mile south from that is Coogee, popular with the young backpacker set.
A fairy ride from Circular Quay, Curl Curl Beach is four miles north of Manly and according to bugbog webpage is considered the best surfing beach on the north side. Palm Beach (not Miami) is considered the jewel of northern beaches. This remote, quiet and peaceful location is where celebrities tend to come on the holidays and have chosen to purchase a getaway home when escaping the everyday life.
In Coral Bay, the animals observed are spectacular. From April to June you can mingle with whale sharks and humpback with them as well. And from June to October is impossible not to see manta rays, turtles and reef sharks in the gorgeous water guarded by a township.
Whitehaven Beach is a picture perfect ‘Cast Away’ Beach. On Whitsunday Island, is a breathtaking view and feel, with platinum sand, azure water, palm tress, this piece of paradise enjoys good weather all year around, besides the fact that it has been recognize as one of the most beautiful beaches.
In Perth’s, Cotteslow, is a great destination for swimming, snorkeling, fishing and sun bathing. This suburban area is preserved with homes from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. With great locations to eat nearby, its panoramic views go on forever. Hotels, motels and apartments are near by.
Looking for the more quiet scene, Wineglass Bay is about an hours walk away from civilization but with its stunning views, white sands, green bushes and turquoise waters, sometimes views of dolphins is a must see location. TNT Down under webpage describes it as, a slice of heaven.
A great place for relaxation is Cable Beach, with waters from the Indian Oceans, is a safe environment for swimming and taking a break, perfect place to see the sunset go down every evening. And enhance the experience by having a camel ride along the beach.
And if this vacation is different from the other ones, a great place for honeymooners is the Margaret River. A blend of good living and stunning nature is just West of Australia's.
With world-class wineries and gourmet vineyard, local artist expose an array of art and craft throughout the galleries. As well as including natural attractions with underground caves and other adventures, such as rock climbing and whale watching is a great location for fishing, romance, luxury and wildlife.
There’s a scene for everyone, from natural surroundings to surfer beaches.
